Logia 44. Jesus said: Whoever blasphemes against the Father, it shall be forgiven him, and whoever blasphemes against the Son, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, either on earth or in heaven.

The Father and the Son are just manifestations, but the Spirit or the Holy Ghost is your own beingness the God in you.

Logia 45. Jesus said: They do not harvest grapes from thorns, nor do they gather figs from thistles; [for] they give no fruit. [A] good man brings forth good out of his treasure, an evil man brings forth evil things out of his evil treasure, which is in his heart, and speaks evil things. For out of the abundance of the heart he brings forth evil things.

This is really a continuation of Logia 44 and 41.

Logia 70 also states - Jesus said: If you bring forth that within yourselves, that which you have will save you. If you do not have that within yourselves, that which you do not have within you will kill you.

Many come to a service and say they are getting nothing out of it - but what did they bring with them?

Whatever is within is your beingness - it can be stirred up by another person, but you do not LEARN from somebody else. They can pull out from you what you know already.

What is evil but a moving away from the God within, looking to the material rather than to the spirit.

Logia 46. Jesus said: : From Adam until John the Baptist there is among those who are born of women none higher than John the Baptist, so that his eyes will not be broken. But I have said that whoever among you becomes as a child shall know the Kingdom, and he shall become higher than John.

John was intellect. The disciples (little children) are the spiritually chosen.
Eyes not broken is to see everything as God omnipotent, you will then see clearly. therefore higher that John.
Here know means - a profound certainty.

Logia 47. Jesus said: : It is impossible for a man to mount two horses and to stretch two bows, and it is impossible for a servant to serve two masters, otherwise he will honor the one and offend the other. No man drinks old wine and immediately desires to drink new wine; and they do not put new wine into old wineskins, lest they burst, and they do not put old wine into a new wineskin, lest it spoil it. They do not sew an old patch on a new garment, because there would come a rent.

Thomas Troward says that you completely eradicate the old concepts and thought, and then you have room to put in the new.

Emma Curtis Hopkins gives the same idea with her denials that are purifications of the mind first, for you cannot give an affirmation without denial first. You cannot affirm your good with lack still in your consciousness - all you will do is affirm your lack.

Gospel of Truth
"For in the place where there is envy and strife there is lack. But that place which is unity is perfection. Since the lack is caused because they do not know the Father. From that moment in which they learn to know the Father, shall there be no more lack.
Through unity shall each one find himself, through knowledge shall he purify himself from a manifold being to a unity in which he absorbs matter into himself like a fire, and darkness with light, death with life. If this happened to each of us it would be best for us to take care that the house (the body), is pure and quiet for unity."
Logia 48. Jesus said: If two make peace with each other in this one house, they shall say to the mountain, "Be moved", and it shall be moved.

A divided mind accomplishes nothing.

Logia 49. Jesus said: Blessed are the solitary and elect, for you shall find the Kingdom, because you came from it, (and) you shall go there again.

Blessed are the ones who recognize they are one.

This is similar to the Book of the Dead -
"We come from the light and take on a coat of skins and we shall return to the light."

The Gnostic believes that his particle of light emanates from the highest existence.

Gospel of Truth
"He who gains insight, he knows whence he has come and wither he is going."

Jesus' task in the world is to awaken men out of their ignorance and oblivion, and to persuade them to return to the Father. "Thy will be done in heaven as it is in earth." The Kingdom in the heavenly world is the same as that here below within man.

This answer to Noria, the wife of Noah, in the Hypostasis of Archons - when she asks whether she . . . who is one of the enlightened . . . belongs to the world of matter…

"You and your children belong to the Father, to him who has existed from the beginning. Your souls came from above, from the imperishable light. Therefore the powers shall not be able to approach them, on account of the Spirit of Truth who lives in them. But all who have learned to know the way are immortal in the midst of mortal men."
